I have finished my first week of second semester. There are eighteen total weeks, I don't know how I counted though, it shouldn't include holidays of course.
So much homework!
French, Rel., History, Math, English, AP Bio

I must go to sleep now.
Here's a panda.

One more day! I can't wait! Going back to school is so exciting, isn't it?!
I'll get tired of it by the Friday of next week.
And I recently read some poems by T.S. Eliot, since I bought a book entitled "The Waste Land and other poems". Paperback, for $4.00.
I love the "Love song of J. Alfred Prufrock". I don't know why. Each time I read it over, I think he means something else.
Do I dare
Disturb the universe?
In a minute there is time
For decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse.

For I have known them all already, known them all:—
Have known the evenings, mornings, afternoons,
I have measured out my life with coffee spoons;
I know the voices dying with a dying fall
Beneath the music from a farther room.
So how should I presume?

"The Waste Land" itself was alright. I like the part that said something like...
A woman drew her long black hair out tight
And fiddled whisper music on those strings
And bats with baby faces in the violet light
Whistled, and beat their wings
And crawled head downward down a blackened wall
And upside down in air were towers
Tolling reminiscent bells, that kept the hours
And voices singing out of empty cisterns and exhausted wells.

I felt that those lines had the most imagery. Like I could imagine everything in a violet light.

And so I'm hungry. I shall eat soon, when I have the chance.
Wow. So much still going on about the series.

of unfortunate events of course. What else?
I should catch up someday. I used to know so many of the secrets, anagrams...and all that other stuff. I wonder what the author thinks of our obsession. biggrin

As I write this entry, type it rather, I'm analyzing someone's dream. It's a very interesting dream, and if my friends know enough about me, they can find where I am analyzing it. But I doubt that they do.
And now, my grades are out of my hands, unless by some fortunate turn of events, I did remarkably well on my finals. or something else considering my once wonderful math grade. disbelief
And I recognize the song in that commercial for that show about spoiled children I just heard while hiding in the basement of this stranger's house. Well, i think I recognize it to be the anvil chorus in that one opera...'Il Trovatore"? I'm almost positive that it's by Verdi. and that's in act 2.
I shall post a picture. I feel like I should, to entertain anyone who appreciates my wonderful photography.
http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p269/MalloryDanielHandlerMcgullicuddy/rosesandavase.jpgThis was taken at a garden, and I liked how the position of the sun lighted the area. It was during sunset. The brick looks rather ugly, and tis was actually right outside the rose garden, not in it, which is why there is a fence. I don't know what is written on that metal plate on the brick wall, so don't ask.

I had the strangest dream this morning involving a classroom, a store for shoes, and I was looking for boots, since it's winter, riding my bicycle on the extremely bumpy sidewalk (it was very ...it looked like....light waves! perhaps blue or violet...) More later.

hmm...I haven't done Math, but I did finsih Bio...and I still have to do the extra credit for English, and finish reading "Much Ado About Nothing". Making study guide for finals right now. APUSH. Garn. Currently updating study guide to Unit 1. Will later have to finish the other 3 units...I haven't started the study guide for Unit 4 (test this Friday). Too much complaining.

Recently read book: "Oakdale Confidential" by Anonymous.
Yes, I liked it. And you might too, if you like murders and mysteries. I usually don;t read those kind of books. I like Humor. Like Daniel Handler. But this book had some element of humor in it too. Around 300 pages...took me 1 and 1/4 days to read...with studying History in between. I just randomly picked it off the shelf I was sitting enxt to in the Library on ... Wednesday, when I was stuck there for...from 12:00 noon to 5:30 afternoon. I judged the book by its name and cover. That's a good thing most of the time. In my case. It's the same way I ended up liking "Misfortune" by Wesley Stace.

I am unaware of exactly what to do for the extra credit in AP Bio. And I need extra credit. It is one of the 3 of 7 classes that I have bad grades in. Bad in MY opinion. I hope the background of this page isn't too distracting.

I have math and english and biology homework. I should probably go do those now. It is 4:20 as I type this now. I need to study History, though the test is only the end of next week. And I have wasted so much time. And I am trapped in this brick building. (It is not a flooding basement...Mr. Snicket!).

Samedi. There were my acquaintances, E, K, J, and either G or Y ( I remember asking, "is that G or Y" At first I thought it was G and then someone told me it was Y). I saw a pair of beautiful green gray eyes floating in front of me that suddenly disappeared. At some point, a friend of mine dragged me to run around with her, and we started jumping off the walls, and eventually, without my noticing, I recall the place looking like a dark room with tables with white table cloths and then turning back into a place located outside behind a building at night time. At some other point in time and space, I was called inside a building to entertain a group of school children with information about a crab. Are those whistles or sirens or bells I hear? They are calling us to the opposite side of the field! They have an important announcement! Oh dear, where are my shoes? K and E were with me, and K said, "Wait here, while we get our shoes." So I waited. A little boy in a baseball jersey and cap tossed a baseball to me, and I caught it with bare hands as I sat in the wet grass. "Let's go E! We'll be late!" K yelled as she ran with E hand in hand. I still hadn't gotten my shoes. My heart beat faster as I ran to the door and realized, before I opened it, that the announcement was over. Everyone was laughing and screaming in joy as they returned. I remember, before that: a place, at night, well lit, and an overall shade of red. Was that our teacher walking by? No! Don't call her over, K! Oh, joy, K didn't listen. So then I was stuck with these so called acquaintances, talking to her and then having to follow her somewhere. We were supposed to be searching for something, I forgot what. oh well. More later. I must go elsewhere now.

PE/ Health: ...write down everything I have eaten and their nutritional values...and evaluate...oh joy oh rapture unforeseen

Hon. French 2: TPG p. 33, CA p. 43

Doesn't seem like a lot, does it? it all depends on how much time one has, and what one has had to do before. I rarely do have the time, since I waste it doing things like this. or analyzing dreams of random people. Or just waiting. Waiting takes up a lot of time.
